题名: Difference of ZSM-5 zeolites Synthesized with Various Templates

摘要: ZSM-5 zeolites were synthesized using various templates(n-butylamine(BTA),ethylamine(ETA), isopropylamine(IPA), ethylenediamine(EDA), ethanol(ETL), ethanol-ammonium(ETL-AM) and no template(NT)) with the molar oxide compositions of the reactants of 88.4-100SiO2:1.0Al2O3: 7.66-8.3Na2O:3500-3880H2O under carefully controlled procedures and conditions to ensure similar Si/Al ratio of the products. The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, SEM, XRF, NH3-TPD and BET surface area measurements in order to understand the template effects and the differences of the ZSM-5 samples. The synthesized crystals were found to be pure and of high crystallinity. SEM results indicated that the samples showed difference in morphology, particle size and physicochemical property under similar synthesized conditions. The Si/Al ratio and BET specific surface area of the products were also different. NH3-TPD results showed that the samples synthesized without template had fewer strong acid sites than the samples synthesized with template. N-hexane cracking reaction was carried out over the samples to evaluate the catalytic properties. The samples synthesized with various templates were effective in n-hexane cracking reaction. The sample synthesized without template showed the highest activity. At the same time, the samples synthesized also showed different selectivity for olefin and alkane. The sample (NT) showed a relatively low selectivity for propene and a high selectivity for the formation of propane and benzene.
