摘要: Objective: To predict deleterious SNPs in ABC transport superfamily. Methods: Based on a set of sequence-based features, i.e. 1, free energy; 2, volume; 3, hydrophobicity; 4, SIFT score; 5, normalized site entropy; 6, residue frequency, we have evaluated the predictive power of the six factors to differentiate between disease-causing SNPs and neutral changes. Results and Conclusion: we have identified many SNPs in ABC superfimaly from dbSNP that are likely to be associated with disease and thus are good candidates for genotyping in association studies, which can be used to direct our functional assays.
