摘要: Methane oxidative bromination reaction was carried out on five supported metal oxide catalysts (V, Ce, Mo, Ba, WOx/SiO2). All the catalysts showed roughly the same activity but the selectivity fell into two parts. On Mo,Ba,WOx/SiO2 catalysts the selectivity of CH3OH, CH3Br and CO was exceeding 95% with a molar ratio of (CH3OH+CH3Br)/CO close to 1,which could provide the perfect feed-stock for acetic acid production; while on V,CeOx/SiO2 catalysts CO was the main product. This is attributed to the differences of catalysts’ redox ability. Besides, methanol was generated on most catalysts and it was presumed to be the product of CH3Br hydrolyzation.
