摘要: In situ UV Raman spectroscopy, for the first time, was employed to study the hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite X and Fe/ZSM-5, as typical examples. A full description of the speciation and growth behavior of zeolite X in both liquid and solid phase has been presented. The in situ spectroscopic results suggest that the formation of Fe/ZSM-5 involves the formation of ZSM-5 precursor units via the connection of distorted tetrahedrally coordinated Fe atoms and depolymerized silicate species, and these units connect with each other to form the framework structure of Fe/ZSM-5. This work also demonstrates that the in situ UV Raman spectroscopy is a powerful technique specially for studying zeolite synthesis mechanism from solution to solid states.
