英文摘要As clean energy conversion devices, polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) have many advantages, including high efficiency and low emission, making them attractive for both mobile and stationary applications. Platinum (Pt) has been regarded as the most active catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). However, the ultimate applications of PEMFCs are hindered, at least partially, due to the high price of the Pt. Thus, developing high catalytic non-platinum catalyst is critical for the PEMFCs. Herein, the development progresses in our group of non-noble electrocatalysts for ORR, are reported. Fig.1 presents the performance of single cell with MoN/C as the cathode electrocatalysts. As shown in Fig.1, the single cell achieves a maximum power density of 83 mW cm-2. The catalyst is expected to be a promising non-noble eletrocatalyst in PEMFCs.
