摘要: Morphology-dependent phenomenon has been demonstrated in Co3O4 nanomaterials. The nanoparticles predominantly exposed the less active {111} planes, but the nanorods exposed preferentially the active {110} planes. Because the {110} planes are rich in Co3+ species acting as the active sites for CO oxidation, the reaction rate of the nanorods was one order of magnitude larger than that of the nanoparticles. .
