英文摘要Miniaturization of gas chromatographic instrument has several approaches. This study reports a miniaturized surface ionization detector and a thin metal cylindrical shell column oven for micro gas chromatograph. The LOD of the SID was 110-14 g for triethylamine with linear range of response over 6 orders of magnitude. The purge gas was purified air and the carrier gas was nitrogen. The separation column used was a 30 m  0.25 mm i.d. OV-1 column with split injection. Relative responses of different classes of compounds were measured and compared. The column was wound around a thin aluminum cylindrical shell of 100 mm i.d.  30 mm in single layer, with one end connected to a injector and another end to the detector. A heating film with matched size was stick to the inside surface of the cylindrical shell and was act as heater. The column was heated uniformly and was kept either isothermal or in temperature programming. The deviation of temperature along the capillary column was less than 0.5 C. A micro gas chromatograph was then constructed for selective detection of trace amine compounds in air.
