题名: Transfer Hydrogenation of Aldehydes and Asymmetric Direct Aldol Reaction on Amphiphilic Catalysts Assembled in Emulsion

摘要: In our previous work, we developed the selective oxidation of alcohols on emulsion catalysis, where amphiphilic catalyst was assembled at the interface of emulsion[1]. Recently, emulsion catalysis further extends to transfer hydrogenation and asymmetric direct Aldol reactions (Scheme 1)[2,3]. In transfer hydrogenation reaction, TOF is up to 3.0 × 105 h-1 in the emulsion system and 30-fold rate acceleration is achieved compared with biphasic system. In asymmetric direct Aldol reaction, Not only is the rate of reaction enhanced, but also the regio- and enantioselectivies of product are improved significantly. The ee value beyond 99% is obtained. These excellent performances in emulsion can be ascribed to a large reaction area, the enrichment of local concentrations of reactants and uniform orientation of chiral catalyst at the interphase of emulsion.
