英文摘要A new preparation route for crystalline materials, ionothermal synthesis, was developed by Morris et al. recently. In the reactions, ionic liquids play as template and solvent, not only removing the competition between template-framework and solvent-framework interaction, but also providing a totally new ionic environment for crystallization. In this work, a series of room-temperature ionic liquids 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(oxalato)borate (CnmimBOB, n = 2, 3, 4, 6) were prepared and used both as solvent and as boron source for the first time to develop new compounds. A new cobalt borophosphate (NH4)7Co4(H2O)[B2P4O15(OH)2]2[H2PO4][HPO4] with extra-large one-dimensional 16-ring channels was obtained when C2mimBOB was used. The title compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pnma, a = 16.9206(7) Å, b = 10.5592(5) Å, c = 21.9997(10) Å, V = 3930.6(3) Å3 and Z = 4. The structure features in hanging P=O bonds and peanut shaped 16-ring channels with the pore size of 10.9 Å × 5.0 Å. Whether C2mim cations have a structure-directing property during the synthesis is still under investigation.
