AbstractCeO2 morphology and Au particle size in Au/CeO2 catalysts have been comparatively studied by using CO oxidation as the probe reaction. Compared to the size effect of Au particle, the morphology of CeO2 plays a more significant role in CO oxidation. The nanorod-shaped CeO2 exposed more active crystal facets which promoted the redox properties and enhanced the Au-CeO2 interaction.
