AbstractOrganosilica nanotubes: large-scale synthesis and encapsulation of metal nanoparticles; In this communication we have demonstrated the synthesis of organosilica nanotubes with inner diameter of similar to 6 nm and their carbonization to form carbon/silica composite nanotubes. Pd nanopartilces encapsulated in the organosilica and carbon/silica nanotubes show different catalytic activities in the hydrogenation of cyclohexene.
