摘要: The hydrolysis reaction for hydrogen generation by Al-based-material in pure water has been investigated in this work. The composites were prepared by high energy ball milling. The Al-Bi composites and with some different substitutions prepared by ball milling were investigated by Mei-Qiang Fan et al [1,2].,approximately 1000 mL of H2, per gram of the Al-Bi-NaCl can be generated, and the hydrogen generation rate can be achieved at 160 mL/g/min in the first five minutes of hydrolysis. In this work, several kind of alkali metals and complex hydrides were added into the Al-Bi-NaCl composites to improve the kinetics and yield in hydrolysis reaction with pure water at room temperature. It was found that the additives can bring excellent performance to the Al-Bi-NaCl composites. The optimized Al alloy demonstrated a high initial hydrogen generation rate(1878mL*min-1g-1) and could release all the theoretic hydrogen in 1 minute.
