摘要: Recent researches show that reacting alkali or alkali earth metal hydride (LiH, NaH, or CaH2) with AB produces amidoborane with improved dehydrogenation properties. Lithium amidoborane (LiAB),1 sodium amidoborane (NaAB)1 and calcium amidoborane (CaAB)2, can release ca. 10.9 wt%, 7.5 wt% and 8.0 wt% of H2 at moderate temperatures, respectively. In this presentation, we report the development of a new type of ternary amidoboranes and amidoborane ammoniates. The structures and thermal decomposition of those chemicals have been investigated by means of XRD, TPD, DSC and volumetric release. It was observed that hydrogen desorption from amidoborane ammoniates started at temperatures below 70°C and more than 8 wt% of H2 can be released at 150 °C.
