摘要: Hydrogen Storage is one of the pending and challenging technical barriers in the implementation of hydrogen energy. Chemicals with high hydrogen content are potential hydrogen storage materials. A number of promising candidates have been identified and investigated over the past decades. Among them amide-hydride and ammonia borane are the two systems attracting considerable attention.1-3 It has been demonstrated that 5.5 wt.% or 6.7 wt.% of hydrogen can be reversibly or irreversiblly stored in magnesium amide-lithium hydride and ammonia borane systems through reactions (1) and (2), respectively.2,3 However, relatively high operating temperatures due to kinetic barriers place serious restriction onto the application of those substances.
