英文摘要: High resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HREELS) has been used to investigate the adsorption and decomposition of (NO)-N-15 on the Mo(100)-c(2x2)N-14 surface. At 140 K, the (NO)-N-15 molecule could adsorb associatively on atop sites of the Mo and N-14 atoms in the nitride layers. On the other hand, a small amount of dissociated (NO)-N-15 also exists. The dissociation of surface nitric oxides species at elevated temperatures caused the oxidation of the surface Mo.
