英文摘要The ignition processes for the catalytic partial oxidation of methane (POM) to synthesis gas. over the oxidized nickel, metallic nickel as well as Pt-added oxidized nickel catalysts (represented as NiO, NiO and Pt-NiO, respectively) were studied by temperature-programmed surface reaction (TPSR) technique. The results showed that the ignition behavior for POM on NiO was almost similar to that on Ni-0 in the reacting atmosphere of CH4 and O-2, Ni-0 was first oxidized to NiO, then the deep oxidation of methane took place on NiO at T < 760 C. POM gradually initiated at similar to 770 degreesC on Ni-0 and NiO catalysts, however, even at similar to 520 degreesC could POM rapidly take place on Pt-NiO catalyst. the catalytic performance of POM initiated on Pt-NiO catalyst at about 500 degreesC in a fluidized bed was the same as that on Ni-0, which indicated that the addition of Pt was beneficial to the reduction of NiO to active Ni-0, therefore the addition of Pt reduced the initial temperature for POM.
