Synthesis of a silica-bonded bovine serum albumin carbonyl chiral stationary phase for high-performance liquid chromatographic resolution of enantiomers
An HPLC chiral stationary phase was synthesized by the in situ covalent immobilization of bovine serum albumin on a aminopropyl silica packed column activated with 1,1-carbonyldiimidazole in a short time. The effects of mobile phase pH and the content of 1-propanol on k' and alpha of D,L-tryptophan were investigated, and the resolution of seven chiral compounds was successfully achieved.
