英文摘要: Applying CO/H2O reaction as a hydrogen source for the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds to corresponding amines is of great potential from a technological point of view, especially when a cheap catalytic system can be employed. Selenium-catalyzed reduction of nitrobenzene to aniline at moderate higher temperature by CO/H2O was described. What should be noted is that in the reaction no co-catalyst was used, which means that the catalytic system is very simple and cheap. The effects of reaction time, carbon monoxide pressure, reaction temperature, n(H2O)/n (PhNO2), n (Se)/n (PhNO2,) and solvent on the conversion of nitrobenzene and the selectivity and yield of aniline were investigated. The finally obtained solution was analyzed by GC, using n-C9H20 as an internal standard to determine the absolute amount of aniline and remained nitrobenzene. When the reaction proceeds under the conditions of n (H2O)/n (PhNO2) = 10, n (Se)/n (PhNO2) = 0.02, p(CO) = 4 MPa, 0 = 160degreesC and t = 3 h, using THF as a solvent, the PhNO2 conversion up to 98.2% with PhNH2 selectivity of 100% can be reached.
