AbstractLight alkenes production by hydrocarbon selective oxidation is one of the promising alternative ways to replace conventional steam cracking. In this paper, the recent advances, developing trends and existing problems in this research field are reviewed. Emphases are put on the work with outstanding results and novel research hotspot.
