AbstractA new class of phenethylamine-derived tridentate P,N,N-ligands has been successfully developed. These ligands exhibited good performance in the Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of beta-keto esters, affording the corresponding beta-hydroxy esters in moderate to good enantioselectivities.
