AbstractThree ruthenium(II) complex catalysts bearing 2,6-bis(tetrazolyl)pyridine were synthesized, strucReceived 1 November 2017 turally characterized, and applied in the transfer hydrogenation of ketones. Their different catalytic Accepted 1 December 2017 activities were attributed to the different phosphine ligands on the 4-chloro-2,6-bis(1-(p-tolyl)-1H-Published 5 February 2018 tetrazol-5-yl)pyridine ruthenium(II) complexes, with that based on 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino) butane exhibiting better catalytic activity.
